It's the truth. Before south park did that family guy episode, family guy was running laps around how the simpsons was & the Simpsons had no comeback to that because they were washed.

I remember that. Cartoon Wars 1 & 2 was their version of Ether. South Park went in on everything Family Guy. Trey and Matt always been fans of the Simpsons and always gave them props going back to that "Simpsons Did It" episode.

That couch gag though didn't seem like a shot really. At least not to me.
