I remember the first time they did this Simpsons marathon
someone said one of the many reasons the show fell off is because
they started doing too many Lisa episodes, I kinda see what brehz
was talmbout know.

The spelling bee episode was pretty funny to me but a lot of episodes that center around her usually are kind of weak.

You know re-watching The Simpsons in the marathon combined with the insights on the Talking Simpsons podcast has me realizing stuff I never really thought of :ohhh:

*Marge has absolutely no friends at all.... never really had friends which would explain why Lisa never had friends either.

*Homer and Marge never dated and/or fukked anyone but each other which is why there are so many episodes of one of them almost commiting adultry but changing their minds at the very last second

*Bart probably had ADD and needed some medication to calm his bad ass down

*Homer is hungry all the damn time because he stress eats to calm the pain of his stressful marriage, dissapointing kids and shytty job

*Lisa is just like Daria from MTV's Daria on the fact that she sees everyone bullshyt and chooses not to participate... only difference is that Daria was mellow and chose to hide in the shadows from the world while Lisa became whinney overdramatic and a c*nt about it to everyone
:wow:damn....They did just jump into love at first sight and Homer stays taking her for granted. They used to have Marge hang out with Maude (R.I.P.:mjcry:)Rev. Lovejoys wife, and Milhouse mom but they all just stopped:dwillhuh:

I came to the realization that Homer would be MUCH MUCH happier if he divorced Marge and live the rest of his days as a bachelor. Every day would be him hanging out with Lenny and Carl, drinking at Moes with Barney, him getting random p*ssy from people like Mindy and Lurleen and etc and always getting into random adventures. He can do that without anyone nagging him to death.

Milhouse's mom was too busy trying to get dikked down to hang out with Marge since Milhouse's dad was too busy trying to borrow a feeling :russ:

As for Maude and Lovejoy's messy ass wife lets be honest Marge never fit in truly with them. Marge wasn't truly about that church life and really only went for appearance and she thought that's what people were supposed to do, noticed how Bart and Lisa never gave any fukks about church at all and Homer was :mjgrin:when he stopped going to church because he never wanted to be there so Marge put a stop to that for no reason.

Speaking of Marge needing friends she just found some apparently :mjlol:

Speaking of Lisa does anyone have Lisa as a favorite character? She's always been annoying to me.

Nah, Marge is the absolute worst character and she would seem more impossible to find anyone who would like her as a favorite. Lisa had her moments though, she was really the perfect balance to Bart.

Has the show creators ever entertained the idea of Bart,Lisa, Homer & Marge getting older?

As said earlier they only do it with future episode.

With cartoons such as The Simpsons and Spongebob you always have to keep the element
of ''Please Don't Grow Up'' once you make the characters grow up it kills the show.

Look what happen to the Rugrats once they made them grow up, The show was done after that.

I think King of the Hill is one of the few that did it successfully

The year 3030
I wouldn't want them to get older..but I do get slightly annoyed by the moving timeline...an episode from a few years ago had homer in college (or meeting marge, I forget) in 2001...like :childplease:

but with 20+ seasons and 10+ years...its understandable.

watched this classic last night:

Speaking of growing up....

They're currently airing an episode of The Simpsons' growth
as a family, Maggie hasn't even been born yet in this episode.

Meh that's not why
Writting got bad and they turned Homer into a borderline re-tard, Marge into a gullible moron. Bart into a depressed whiney p*ssy and Lisa into a depressed annoying character who has no friends
