Umm it was Nutella and if it was a delusion we would still see it because it's from his POV. I.e. Seeing the dog and the man walk into the woods. Like Where did the dog come from and how did he got off the bus so fast & get to the front in a split second. Plus the way he was walking would be from the POV of getting off from the front of the bus and he would have had to pass Ol' dude. Also the way he appeared in sepia when we first saw him. Too many cawinkidinks.
