The show is so surreal that gaps like that only add to it. Darius serves a purpose much greater than a regular weed carrier, crew member etc, and focusing on how he makes money seems almost pointless. His character transcends all that shyt.
As a matter of fact, it's a disservice to just think about this show as being simply a story about a rapper trying to blow up. This show really reminds me of a modern Odyssey of sort, and I think the show takes on more layers when we begin to attach classic archtypes to the characters. In this case, Darius clearly reminds me of a sort of supernatural sage, something close to a Tiresias. We don't give a fukk about how he eats, we tryna see what wisdom and insight the mfer imparts on the audience!
He gets money tho. When Earn needed money, who hooked him up with the dog hustle. Him and Al were going around trying to find a plug
