FX & Donald Glover present Atlanta Season 2: Atlanta Robbin' Season

I'm at the cancellation talk in here.

I can't claim to be an expert on how TV execs think, but Atlanta cleaned up at the awards last year and Donald has the hot hand right now. If they don't renew it, the rush to pick it up would be

Its not about FX not picking it up its about Donald & Crews schedules. ALL of them have blown up and it gets hard to schedule filming when one is off doing critically acclaimed plays, one is off starring in critically acclaimed features, one is off starring in blockbuster movies, and the creator is off becoming a pop culture phenomenon.

Even the people BEHIND the scenes are blowing up. Donald’s brother Stephen has his own development deal with FX and was also contracted by Lebron James production company to reboot the House Party franchise. Stephanie Robinson has a production deal with FX and is onvilced with writing on three of the channel’s flagship series. Hiro Murai is about to be directing everything under the sun. All of their profiles have risen considerably.

A few things...
-Season starts with a rift between Darius and Al. Season finale starts with a rift between Earn and Al.
-Darius' walking out the house with his arms up like he did to "Opt Out".
-Earn has to pay $375 for not throwing a half a joint. Darius has to pay $350 for procrastinating on his passport.
-Darius tries to explain robbin' season to Earn as he kinda shrugs it off. Al explains robbin season at the end and Earn finally gets it.
-Earn puts the gold gun in the same bag in both episodes.
-Earn takes Katt William's picture and it ends up being his background pic when Van texts.
-FUBU connected everyone in the picture (Earn's mom, Al's mom and Katt Williams are siblings).
-Katt's convo with Earn is directly related to Al not firing Earn. "Family IS business."
-Ends with Earn homeless cause of Tracy. Finale ends with Tracy homeless because of Earn scheduling the move same day they left.

So IF that plan goes down we’re looking at Fall 2019 or early 2020. That actaully isn’t a long wait at all...

There totally has been [talk]," she confirmed. "I don't think we've gotten greenlit for it yet, but we talk about it amongst ourselves a lot.

"I'm pretty sure they have some scripts written, and there are also some ideas in a certain direction they want to go. I know Donald has asked me what I think about this or that.

"I think they want to start shooting in January. But, as far as I know, we haven't been greenlit yet. So who knows?"

That teacher didn't care. Its sad that some of you don't get that.
She didn't care at all and was just a terrible person and teacher.
She didn't want to do her job and educate, she just picked people she thought were "good enough" to send elsewhere.
That isn't being a good teacher, that isn't caring, that is coasting.

Nah. I don't agree with that. She's probably in a public school with limited resources. She's in a school where kids like Lodi can't get the attention they need to be in an accelerated program because they're in the same class with kids on a normal track and kids that need more attention because they're behind. It's tough to expect a teacher to focus on a class with there being three types of students and you don't have the resources to really do anything with any of them.

That's on top of discipline and dealing with parents and other shyt the kids deal with at home.

If she didn't care she wouldn't have scheduled a conference with Earn and Van to say their daughter was gifted and needed to be somewhere she would get the appropriate curriculum and attention she deserves.

doesnt matter if this is the first time the teacher is shown her actions showed what she was. What could she have done? She could have personally tried to push their daughter harder and told them about the many supplemental educatiobal programs for gifted children or in an accelerated public school program. The fact that the teacher said she only tried to funnel the intelligent, in her mind , kids should tell you all you need to know.
Think of all the kids she sees who she doesnt give a damn about. She is a truly terrible teacher and sadly a very real example of the terrible teachers at ys government schools that black kids are pushed into to be institutionalized, drugged, and/or indoctrinated in

If they start in filming January 2019 it’ll probably be back on the air by that summer/fall at the earliest. So it won’t be a year-plus wait like it was for season two. I

I wasn’t worried about us getting a season 3 Because Donald mentioned hoping they’d get one when they won big at the Golden Globes last year.

Moving in with her mom probably hurts Earn’s pride because, as shown in Episode 4, Helen, he put great emphasis on being able to pay Van’s bills so she can continue living on her own and so that Earn always has that trump card as a place to stay if need be.

Remember without Van living on her own Earn doesn’t really have a place he can forward his mail too or crash when times get really tough.

Also deep down Earn knows that Van going to live with her mom further closes the door on a rekindling of their relationship

I’m guessing a big part of season 3 will be him manning up and convincing her to stay somehow. The teacher throwing out that “happy two parent home” jab was possibly foreshadowing.

Both of those characters are more enjoyable when they’re getting along, wish we got more of that tbh.
