Its not about FX not picking it up its about Donald & Crews schedules. ALL of them have blown up and it gets hard to schedule filming when one is off doing critically acclaimed plays, one is off starring in critically acclaimed features, one is off starring in blockbuster movies, and the creator is off becoming a pop culture phenomenon.
Even the people BEHIND the scenes are blowing up. Donald’s brother Stephen has his own development deal with FX and was also contracted by Lebron James production company to reboot the House Party franchise. Stephanie Robinson has a production deal with FX and is onvilced with writing on three of the channel’s flagship series. Hiro Murai is about to be directing everything under the sun. All of their profiles have risen considerably.
