Paperboi stopped selling the moment the Rap money began to start rolling in. And if you speaking on him searching for a new plug, it wasn't to get bundles of weed to sell, but someone to hook him up to smoke. You always have that one so-called trusted plug to buy weed from. And yes, the gun thing was a problem. It wasn't about carrying it because Earn was on probation too. You have to understand the Alfred transformed into Paperboi after his crossroads revelation at the woods. He's not taking the rap game seriously and doesn't want anymore hiccups.

he most certainly wasn't just trying to cop weed to sell. in the episode where he gets robbed in the beginning, he is specifically trying to re-up. he even tells the guy how he was smoking that lemon shyt himself. and how everyone loved that bud. he also asks for Molly from him and the guy who takes his picture. the guy who adds him to the group text tells him he can get anything.

honestly I feel like that was some obvious shyt in the show. he was most certainly still selling drugs right there, no question about that.

as far as the gun, earn was not strapped. in s1e1 he takes the gun out of the glove box because earn makes bad decisions.

also, for my Georgia brehs in here, pretty sure guns in the car is the same as guns in your house. I could be wrong though cause im in NYC and our gun laws are draconian

Except you aren't, especially today, unless you want white approval
I hear you bro, and your point can be argued on the talent side (although it's still hurdles being a black artist) but I'm telling you, trying to be a black rep (entertainment lawyer, manager, agent, etc) there are additional hurdles you have that can shut you out the game..one of the unspoken things they tell black talent that reaches a certain level that in order for them to make it to the top, they have to get "suits" that are white..its why that scene in the finale was so real

Donald Glover will be the one to end the show if it ends. He has been known to abandon stuff in pursuit of other creative challenges.

Exactly.

Donald’s already hinted at doing just that. I was always under the impression that Atlanta was a three season series. Remember, Donald got bored with Community after three seasons. He’s ending Childish Gambino after four albums. With the way his career is progressing, i’m pretty sure a full time jump into Jordan Peele territory (writer/director of feature films) is in the cards

WHAT rap money? Al told his dealer he wasn’t making jack shyt on the music. He needed a new plug to keep moving drugs.

Darius told him at the beginning of Episode 2 to “not worry your TRAPPING soul” cause he wss gonna hook him up with a new plug.

Al was selling drugs up until at LEAST episode 8 (Woods)

Why are people bringing up Arrested Development? :childplease:

It was a good show, but nobody fukken watched it when it was on. I pretty sure the ratings was poor despite all the critical reviews.

I remember when Arrested Development won Best Comedy, Justin Bateman on stage, was like "I hope you will watch now" or something to that effect.
