The dualities of being Alfred/Paperboi:ohhh:

The fans he wants (those young black
Kids) dont respect him for keeping it real.

Meanwhile the fans he DOESN’T want (clueless surburban white kid) respect him for keeping it real:wow:

The IG thot foreshadowed this:ohhh:

I think she said "they don't want a rapper that dress/move like them", they want something to look up to/distract them from (hood) reality.

:ohhh:That's how he acts in real life?

Damn, he's deserves an Emmy nod cause his mannerisms look real :wrist:.

MOREHOUSE:lolbron:

I dont know, maybe it's better to have an acting ass dude rather than a Curtis Snow type. You put a hood nikka in that role and he'll probably be typecasted his whole career smh

If you’ve ever lived in Atlanta youd know how close to home that bum scene was...

They really be like that out here
Yo that just reminded me of one night being out in Atlanta and coming across a bum. nikka started doing the dirty bird and trying to do some other dances and just having the wildest conversation. nikka was entertaining though so we hooked him up lol.

The title of this season is Robbin' Season so I'm tryna compile a list of everything people have been robbed of so far. Most of them is time but I'm trying to dig deeper.

Episode 1: The fast food place got robbed.
Episode 2: Paper Boi (Al) got robbed by his plug. Earn seemingly got robbed by Tracy with his giftcard scam and Tracy robbed FootAction.
Episode 3: Strip club robbed Earn.
Episode 4: Van feels robbed of a relationship with Earn.
Episode 5: Al got robbed from his barber, Bibby, who took time away from him and who he helped rob lumber.

Episode 6: Benny and Teddy were robbed of their childhood.

Episode 7: Van got robbed of meeting Drake, Nadine got robbed of what real life was and the women running the house were robbing the women there who were robbing their followers of missing out on meeting Drake.
Episode 8: Alfred gets robbed for being Paper Boi and the potential he's missing out on for being "real."

(I think :patrice:)

Y'all never seen the commercials he's in for Weathsimple? They play it (well at least here) almost every episode.
Hell yeah.

But I’m pretty sure wealth Simple is only in Canada right now.

Cause none of my fam back home in the States know about it or have seen the commercials.

A Villa Straylight.
I didn't hate last episode. I would have liked more Darius and Nadine. The part with the white girl is interesting. because the Yes sistas have a lot to worry about. But if you not there when I'm nothing why should you reap the benefits of my work. It was also disingenous because Van is there for Earn when he was nothing. So it could have been more balanced if it showed that.

If he drops Earn he gotta drop Traci’s scamming ass too. Darius sells drugs for a living too so hes gonna have to cut ties with him as well. The season might end with Earn, Traci, and Darius robbed of Alfred’s friendship
I'm curious, why do you think he needs to drop Darius and Traci. I can see him dropping Earn for a new manager because that will directly affect him blowing up. But he could keep them all around to keep him more grounded in his personal life while blowing up professionally.

That solo tear when the homeless dude had the box cutter to his throat:Sasbrown:

Never thought it would Al that would be the one to finally break down...

Also, that phone call with Earn...Earn sounding like he knows his use to Al is getting weaker by the day.
