Exactly. I watched the Rocks HBO show the Ballers hoping it would get better. Granted that show is 25 min long, and there was eye candy in every episode, so wasn't like I wasted time. Am I going to watch next season, probably not.

The issue is, I felt like they TRIED to make it more balanced when the black chick went off saying that the white woman had “opportunities” that she didn’t have. She, as a black woman, doesn’t have the benefit of watching a black man “grow” into his own because she’s busy trying to survive her damn self in a world that treats her, in many instances, even WORSE than that of a black man..
