I liked Honest for what it was because i KNEW what to expect from it. He had/has to go crossover on his albums and I thought those songs were solid.

future was the alternative solo artist in this genre before and it was better.

it was cool six years ago,....
now it has been a decade and nikkaz still making the same thing.
the time has passed.
where, we could be like okay this is the gateway for this or that.
yet, enough time has passed that the arguement does not have any actual credibility anymore.

so, the other genre's draw more because they get to consistently shark what drives popular culture.
you as a rapper, are not allowed to shark popular culture shyt, over a long period of time.
you are expected to push and drive it.
so, after this much time has passed.
plus, this genre that future inhabits had promise as a whole to be just more than what it became.

when, you authenicate why the slow sales of rap only exist for us in rap.
we have to start check'n why that is and culturally address that.
the issue is, people have been fooled by this fake ass popular culture siren song.
that always leads to the destruction of music.
yet, this time...
rap, the shyt that is never supposed to be disco is fukk'n disco.
now, we have a problem and sooner or later rap is going to be disco and when that happens.
rap will die just like any other genre hardcore accepted as pop music or disco.
the level of skill in rap has to increase past where the decade's last standard was, period.
or rap, will fail as a drawing commodity from a grassroots level to pop level entirely in general.
