Future's a smart man for releasing these the way he did. These two albums had something for everybody. Future had the club bangers/street music you'd get from DS2 or Beast Mode. HNDRXX is more of that melodic smooth Future from his Pluto and Honest albums.

On the heels of his big self-titled release—headed for chart dominance this week—A1/Freebandz/Epic’s Future will be dropping another album on Friday, as artist and label vie for back-to-back #1s. Word has it the second set is more Rhythmic-leaning and radio-friendly.

The decision to release two full-length albums in two weeks, each appealing to a different demographic, is certainly not unprecedented—in September 2005, Nelly released Sweat and Suit on the same day—but it's a bold move nonetheless.

In his interview last week with Zane Lowe, Future mentioned a second album release, but was intentionally vague on when it would be released.

Before the release of last week's guest-less, self-titled album, which will debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 later this week, the ATL native's last full-length release was 2016's EVOL.
