Like I said, this seems to be the argument when folks are hurt that others don’t like it. The first week reactions to beast mode, 56 nights, ds2, Hendrxx, etc showed what a dope future project is, didn’t require a million listening to scenarios for it to “connect”.

If I gotta listen to particular song at 9pm during a gibbous moon in a month that ends with “R” to find it dope, it ain’t dope

Future isn't really much of a thinking man, I think his team are the ones that influence his sound and the reason why certain tapes have certain feels to them. The production on DS2 was very dark and the engineering on it was very crisp, less emphasis on low end, I don't think Future has the same guys or working with the same equipment, so it just feels different.

There's not a song on DS2 that was engineered as poorly as that 100 shooters track that I just mentioned.

His main man Seth Ferkins who was his one and only engineer/mixer passed back in 17'.

That is the main reason his sound hasn't been up to that climax high since then. It left a huge dent in his sound.
