I’ve got to give props to Lil Durk, this bland ass rapper has managed to stay around for years without losing a step in popularity and really hasn’t gained anything either. And really holds his own every time he’s featured. He’s the only one of his peers still relevant, he must be a real dude the way the big rappers always keep him in mind. He’s in his 10th year, when you put that in perspective of someone who blew up in 96 would still be hot in 05, that’s impressive

Durk is phenomenal

He has to be independent tho because there’s clearly no money behind him

I just felt that he sounds bland and looks bland and I can’t separate his sound from others. I don’t I’ve ever recognized his verse without checking the tracklist
