It was clearly a way for him to pretend to online strangers that his life is a success. His real life is almost certainly an endless grind of unceasing, relentless misery, only concluding when he passes away with no fanfare in his cramped, cockroach-infested studio apartment, his bloated, discoloured corpse only being discovered a month later when the 75-year-old Vietnamese slumlord who owns his hovel gets his son to kick the door in as other residents have complained that the odours emanating from under the door are even worse than usual.
