I see you added to the post. I'm not offended at all, I don't care who y'all like. People are entitled to like whatever they want. That isn't my issue. My issue was people saying lyrics don't matter because it's 2015, which is stupid as fukk since the 3 biggest rappers out now (Drake, Cole and Kendrick) all have lyrics. Like I said, I like ratchet music too, just admit that the music is mindless and you just like listening to that shyt. I do too at times.

I didn't say lyricism is unimportant, because I am a listener of all four at the top (krit included), but I know it is no longer the only thing that matters. I'm saying it is 2015, and rap has evolved. It ain't that the "bar has been set low", it's about accepting that it doesn't have to be super-lyrical to bump anymore.
