Yeah it's the simple thing that people are seemingly overlooking: Each movie since the 4th made more money than the preceding flick and the fifth one was a watershed moment and then the 6th one improved on that. There were a lot of reasons that all came together to make the last one make as much money as it did but cats can't have it both ways. You can't say no one cared about Paul Walker but then say this movie only made money because he passed away. If that theory really held water, then Brick Mansions would've cleaned up at the box office. But it didn't. His death was ONE reason that 7 did as well as it did but not the only reason. It's a franchise that continues to build its audience with each installment

And it's the only franchise of this type of this size that has such a diverse cast and it proved to make so much overseas in part BECAUSE of a diverse cast. :salute:
