if you think Flex premiering Otis was crazy you need to check the clip of him premiering "Blue Magic", he was goin way overboard with it, overboard even for Flex. he was acting like that weak ass song was going to unlock the secrets of the universe my nig.

I remember when he premiered Nas Hate Me Now. Up until the Otis premier, Hate Me Now had the record for most bombs dropped on a record.

As I keep on saying, the anticipation for the WTT album last year around this time was at an all time high! We didn't hear no leaks or anything. Just rumors and speculation on when and how the album was going to be released. Plus, you had selected bloggers and execs who heard songs from the album and they were giving play by play of the tracks on twitter. But still, the average fan/listener didn't hear shyt!. Until that Wednesday towards the end of July, when it was announced on twitter that a song from WTT was going to leak. Nobody knew how the record was going to come out until Flex said on twitter "I GOT A RECORD TO PREMIER AT 7!!" When he announced that, everybody knew what was about to go down. The way the whole build up was executed was phenomenal.

People where even fowling when the flash drive for Otis was dropped off(Through twitter, then forums), and on the way to Hot 97. Then Flex killed it. Epic moment man..

Flex premieres are the shyt. One of my favorite ever was his of THE DIPLOMAT'S - SALUTE last summer....shyt took like 30 minutes and he ran back "Vampire life true blood, SPOOKY!" like 100 times

that, and his debut of nore's I cant nothin for ya last summer were crack. He was killing it then

:laff: :laff:

:wow: shyt was classic though

What was crazy is that it was instant praise too. They played that shyt at Dyckman during one of the bigger games of the summer later that night and people almost stopped doing what they were doing to hear that song. Nobody was shooting around. Nobody was on line for food. When that song hit, Hov and Ye might as well have been performing at half court.
