Let's put something together brethren. I'm serious.
Start a thread in the business section. We would have to reach out to some black historians and some of blue check Twitter to get a movement going on social media.
Let's put something together brethren. I'm serious.
Myrtles PlantationI'm from Central Louisiana, we have a lot of plantations and I've never seen one.
We had this big old white house in the hood. Everyone said it was haunted. Crackheads use to be In there. Found out last year it was John Breda plantation.
it's been tore down now.
And NO the shyt shouldn’t be burned down.
Black people need to have a slavery week. Walk in the streets with chains and dead babies in alligators mouths. Dress up as white people and pretend to rape black bodies at random. Tear babies away from mothers. Lynch black men. Do all the vile shyt those CACs did to us but in parade form. Never let them sweep it under the rug. They committed the worst human atrocity in the new world.
Rub their noses in it.
Until we get a formal apology and reparations.
Our people ain’t survive that brutality for us to conveniently let CACs forget about the shyt.
It's very sombering to realize what our ancestors went through and shyt fukks me up to this day. The only solution is to use it as fuel and most importantly never, ever forget.Plenty spots like that that down south...my ppls bought the land we was slaves on...was called the Brewster plantation....was a stud farm among other things....land still in my family...ppl don't give af....there was a hanging tree in the town they just took down a couple years ago...u actually could see the grooves in the branches where they use to hang ppl....remember seeing that as a kid not really understanding emotions like that....first time I honestly remember being livid.....that's not just my family either....there is still slave "quarters" that my fam still lives on the land....turn up tho...
theres alot of plantations still standing in the South.. alot of them have tours..:Fukwrong: why is that still up
No amount of money could ever make up for what their ancestors did, and at the end of the day they still walk away and benefit from a society specifically constructed to benefit them.
Could easily happen if there was money behind it. There are forensic historians that do this type thing. Trace that lineage to present day and shame those families. Especially now with social media. Make those families donate to charities for sins of their fathers.
The nazi stuff is big on the history channel because Jews never ever let the world forget what happened to them, it's what allows them to get away with so much fukkshyt without repercussions because if you criticize anything they do you're antisemiticYou REALLY should. There is a thirst for this type of history. Everyone wants to know about the unspoken and let’s be honest it’s almost like true life horror stories. You see how big all the Nazi stuff is on the history channel. There is a reason for that, humans are morbid. Plus it’s niche. Start a youtube channel and have contact info for elders to reach out to you with their stories. Even if you can’t physically go to the area you can record their story then hire someone off craigslist in that area for 50$ to drive there and record the site and send you video. Splice the two together and you got more content without leaving your house.
A gem.
One of the reasons I never really complain no matter how bad my situation might be...one thing to read about it..to actually see it and know that's what ur ppl went thru is a whole nother animalIt's very sombering to realize what our ancestors went through and shyt fukks me up to this day. Take pics of your people’s land. You should be proud of that. One of the reasons I never really complain no matter how bad my situation might be...one thing to read about it..to actually see it and know that's what ur ppl went thru is a whole nother animal
