I think this argument is weak as hell if u watch season 2 again u will realize very early they established the young cast (ie jr jnr) very early and hardly relied on the old GOATS (like jr) at all

I just got done watching this week's episode. This Season is EASILY the best so far.

:banderas: Looks like Melinda Clarke from "The O.C." & "Nikita" is gonna join the cast for the 2nd-half of the season:
Melinda Clarke Takes Over Classic ‘Dallas’ Role of Tracey McKay on TNT

Former “The O.C.” star takes over the role from Beth Toussaint, who portrayed Tracey in Seasons 12 and 13 of the original series

Melinda Clarke, who is perhaps best known as either Faith Taylor on “Days of Our Lives” or Julie Cooper on “The O.C.,” has signed on to join TNT's “Dallas,” when it launches the back half of its third season on August 18.

Clarke portrays a character named Tracey McKay, and will make her “Dallas” debut on September 8, TheWrap has learned. She will appear in two episodes total this season.

The character of Tracey Lawton, as played by Beth Toussaint, was introduced in the 12th season of the original “Dallas” as a love interest for Bobby Ewing (Patrick Duffy). It was later revealed that her father was Ewing rival Carter McKay (George Kennedy). Carter's grandson, Hunter, has already been making waves. Will Tracey come in as his mother?

In the original series, Tracey and Bobby dated for awhile, but ultimately things didn't work out between them. She left to try and find her brother Tommy, a drug dealer who fled Dallas after Bobby attacked him. Tommy found his way back in Season 13, but got shot in a struggle with his own father after a bomb he brought back with him exploded.

All of these twists and turns are par for the course for a show like “Dallas,” but the bloody family background will surely speak to the kind of relationship Tracey will have with Bobby and his new wife.

Wonder why they didn't go with Beth Toussaint just so they can use the flashbacks? Toussaint still looks good too for an old broad (she's married to dude from Heroes):

I like Melinda Clarke though and if she is playing the character then I can only assume that Tracy is going to no longer be a "good girl" and instead be a schemer.

Bobby was killing me with all of the disapproving looks he was dishing out in that ep.
And they really need to bump up Mama Ryland's role. I would even be cool with Harris being removed to give her more time for fukkery.
And I so wanted Sue Ellen to chug that bottle of after shave. That shyt would have been hysterical.

Last 3 episodes were fire. John Ross teaming with that old bytch is about to be must see tv every week(they better renew this shyt).

Pamela starting her own Barnes/Ewing feud :banderas:

Wasn't ever really a big Christopher Ewing fan but :damn: didn't think he'd go out like that. :wow:

We need one more season of over-acting, back-stabbing, and Southfork fukkery
