There were actually places to go. Clubs had different themes and played different types of music. The Mall actually had places in it you wanted to go in.
Unimaginable :wow:

Every club in the nation is using the same Spotify playlist :francis:

:picard:OP thinks us old heads played fukking stickball and listened to the AM Radio by the living room.

I had a blast in the 90s:

  • Went to Center City with my grandparents almost every weekend
  • Played Super Nintendo with my family
  • Had Crackzies matches during lunch at school
Went to Six Flags and Clementon Lake Park during the summer
  • Played action figures on the porch with my step brother
  • Trips to rent movies and wrestling tapes at Hollywood video/West Coast Video
:mjcry:I wanna go back brehs....

You from Philly? You just described my childhood :ohhh:

Y’all lil nikkas are blasphemous.:hhh: What did we do for fun? nikka, what the fukk do you do for fun? Stare at a little screen all day?:childplease:

First of all back in the 80’s and 90’s, the mall was hella lit. You had to go to the mall to buy clothes, buy music, holler at girls. And everything was better quality back then. You spend $11-17 on a CD or tape, it was worth every penny because literally there were classics dropping everybody week back in that era. Mall arcades were hella better, not no Dave and Busters shyt. The arcade games had state of the art graphics and were addictive. Games like Golden Axe, Allred Beast, Street Fighter 2, Mortal Kombat, X-Men, the Simpsons Arcade Game etc. :lawd: Skating rinks were lit too. The DJ playing the latest hits while everyone rollerskated.

Also, there was something called outside back then. You went outside to get fresh air, play sports, hang out with your friends etc. There was no social media to make social interactions awkward for no reason.

We also had house parties back then and hit the clubs when we got older. People didn’t hide under the bed and only socialize on zoom. People actually danced and didn’t stand around looking at their phones all night because smartphones or even cellphones that weren’t brick phones didn’t exist and nobody had a cell anyway. And dancing was serious back then. It was a sport in itself.

It also was okay to holler at a chick in real life. It was the only way to get at bytches. You have an entire generation of young men who’ve never approached a girl in real life.

Also, y’all babies get your whole swag from the 80’s and 90’s. What? You thought Travis Scott invented Jordan 1’s and Dunks or some shyt? :wtf:All y’all wear is 80’s and 90’s shoes and rehashed old school fashion trends. :rudy:Y’all even shop for old 80’s and 90’s clothes at thrift stores which literally nobody did but the most extremely poverty stricken folks back then. Deep down, you even know that era was a golden era culturally speaking, fukk outta here. :camby:

Go to Blockbuster and get a couple of movies and games, order some Pizza Hut, get an ice cream cake from Dairy Queen, invite friends over, and have a ball.

We went outside and interacted with actual humans. My friends and I used to get on the bus, take it to the mall across town or down town to take pictures or just walk around. Chill in the neighborhood or at the one person's house whose mom worked all the time. Playing video games; Contra and Street Fighter stand out, kickball, dodgeball, riding bikes, etc.
