Yeah....it's prolly more truth to this than I'd wish were the case...at the very least, this ain't a team that's gonna win many games just off of pure talent on the floor...they're gonna have to execute flawlessly...cause they're not getting anything easy out there...no easy buckets...not forcing turnovers which means no fast break points..

dwight hasn't really regained his explosiveness yet, don't know if it's just an issue of him simply working himself back into game shape or whatever,...offensively he's solid despite that but defenisvely he hasn't been the force he's known for...and that also basically means there's zero athleticism on the entire team at the moment...

he didn't look particularly hot the couple game he was out there, but Nash being injured means they have no point guard...it leaves kobe trying to do all the playmaking and he's turning the ball over way too much so far.....

we have no 3 point shooters...Meeks was brought in for just that purpose, and finds himself getting DNP-CD's in favor of giving Metta World Peace most of the minutes at back up SG :mindblown: ...

speaking of the bench, along with meeks, Jamison was supposed to be the big acquisition to shore up scoring from the reserves..and he's doing jack shyt...the bench is abysmal...the starters were like +5 tonight...but the bench -14...a 34 year old kobe can't play the whole fukking game....

pau, don't even get me started....I just pray to whatever gods may be every night that his trade value hasn't fallen so low as to effectively make him untradeable...the front office knew it was time to cash out on him two seasons ago, caught the worst case of front office transactional blue balls maybe in recorded history when they completed the pau/odom for CP3 trade only to have it vetoed in that whole fiasco...and likely got spoiled because of it, wanting too much from other potential moves that were on the table last year (the josh smith trade that fell apart because they wanted another piece :snoop:)

Basically...bad coaching aside (and it's been bad), i've seen little thus far...barring dwight getting stronger throughout the season and returning to DPOY form...that leads me to believe this is a championship quality squad right now :to:

props on being honest

Lakers still shytting on Pau, Pau was alright when Phil was here, how do they expect him to succeed if he's no getting 15 shots a game and is floating by the 3pt line

Phil had to cave pau's chest in to get him involved in the game. We got some stale parts and bum nikkaz on the bench, only superior coaching can rectify this situation.

Pau averaged 18 10 last year as a 3rd/4th option last year what more do people want from him. Pau needs to be in the paint, not shooting jump shots, and 3's he aint Dirk, he cant make contested shots, and don't have the confidence in them, Pau is a banger people forget how he dominated Duncan and Garnett in the post those championship years, thats his game.....Brown simply doesn't have a fukking clue, Pau is floating behind the ft line all game, so what Phil was able to get the best out of his players, and thats what a coach is supposed to do

:pacspit: at yall making excuse for the worst coach in the league, but shyt on Pau, the main reason the Lakers won their last 2 titles

tbh, Logo called this years ago when he said Bynum/Gasol wouldn't work out in the long run. Pau is most effective in the paint, Dwight is ONLY effective in the paint, Kobe prefers to be in the post nowadays too. That's 3 players wanting that space, 4 if you count MWW randomly running to the basket. Gasol is/has been deferring the paint and is much less effective because of it. Beyond that, he's much more slow footed, can hardly get off the ground, and seldom plays big which lets small ball teams get away with playing their style against our size.

Gasol was suppose to be gone last year breh, there's a reason why. :ld:

Gasol was only about to be gone cause his contract, but they were still able to rebuild, if the coach wants him out the paint, he's just doing as he's told, you can tell he's moping around about it not giving 100%

Is nikkas gonna act like Pau wasn't dominating the first couple of games this season:rudy:

Imagine a coach that plays him right, and get him his touches, Brown have no idea what to do with him
