The trade off isn't worth it for a barely perceptible difference.

Switching between Forza 5 and Forza Horizon, I can't see the difference in framerate, but I definitely can see the jump in graphics/detail.

I've switched back and forth on PC and the difference is more pronounced there so I can understand peoples preference when you have the extra power/options. But on consoles where compromises have to be made 60fps just isn't worth it.

It comes down to competent coding. On Horizon 1, Playground games made it a point to push for responsiveness of the controller as far as latency purposes. That said, you can still feel 60vs30 if you've played enough 60fps games. That said, Horizon puts my 60fps bias at ease because it feels good to play.

why isn't drive club both? :dahell:
Why isn't Ryse both? :dahell:

Why isn't Forza Horizon 2 both? :dahell:

And before you go "b-b-but it's open world :stopitslime:", Driveclub's environments are rendered up to 260KM looking like this:

Smh @ it isn't doing anything to render at 30fps. You dudes can only pretend to be soo obtuse.

Believe in marketing hype brehs. :heh: those environments are simply pretty pictures and are in no way comparable to a real interactive open world.

And with all those sacrifices and limitations it still doesn't look better than FH2
