The advanced wars tactics park looks cool but the dungeon stuff looks weak.

The gameplay loop is 90% SRPG, 10% building up your tank/building up links with characters. The 'dungeon' stuff is purely side quest stuff you'll spend almost no time doing.
Anyway this game is great - sure the story seems stupid as fukk, the characters are animals and it's crazy low-budget...but god damn that SRPG gameplay loop is immaculate.

Finished this - really dope little Japanese SRPG. Story gets interesting in the last few chapters. Final boss was way too easy and the game as a whole was on the easy side. Well worth picking up if you like the genre.
I still Haven't started this, but was reminded by this video last week. I have most of the game on the list besides the last one.

This game is fukking fun! I love when I find a diamond in the rough type of game like this that just hits just right for the type of shyt I like.
This is like Howls Moving Castle meets Advanced Wars, with some 13 sentinels/odinsphere (vanilla ware) thrown in. Cool to see they are making sequels

i wasn't feeling the furry shyt either (still not) but the game is just flat out good. Well written war story buried in it

Thats cool. I’ll be keeping an eye on it, I think i got to the last 3rd of the game and the gameplay loop just kinda wore thin for me by then and i just couldnt be bothered to finish.
I’ll be looking to see if they add or change anything up for the sequel, i was enjoying the story a lot
