We always getting Superhero movies. I mean it's only so long you can show noghas saving the world.

Looks like Suicide Squad might be the closest we'll get to see for now.

X-Men: First Class was originally supposed to be a Magneto: Origins movie. First class was dope, but I would've preferred Magneto.

Before Marvel got the rights to Spiderman from Sony. Sony was planning on a Venom Movie and a Sinister Six movie.

I don't know about yall, but I would loved to see a Venom Maximum Carnage movie. :banderas:

What villian movie would yall like to see.

Suicide Squad is a good start.

Other than that, I'm not sure. I think the reason a lot of these villains are very dope is because we don't know that much about them. They're developed but they're developed enough to bounce off of the hero; the point of a movie narrative is to give your main character an arc of some kind, so what arc could the villain have?

Think about a Lex Luther movie? Lex is from a powerful family, like a modern day version of the Kennedys during the 60s. Growing up as America's favorite son and then here comes Superman. Lex experiences jealousy for the first time.

I don't know, that just the basis of what i think could work for that story.

But thats what I'm saying, I don't want to see that. Like I don't want to see Lex be a redemptive guy. I guess for me, being able to sympathize with the villain isn't always something I want or need. I like them to be well developed but that doesn't always mean i need to know why they turned out the way they did. A villain is only as good as the hero and vice versa so if you do the villain movie, you have to put them up against someone who's worse than they are

No Country For Old Man had Anton Chigur who was basically like main character with no redeeming qualities but was still entertaining to watch.

Altho, no other movie has been able to do something like that, it shows that it could be done.

The back story of Dr. Doom is amazing and could work.

And Anton was balanced out by protagonists rather than it being a movie just about him. You could argue he was the shark in jaws where everything happened around him. He didn't have an arc at all, he was the main antagonist who was going to devour everything around him and the protagonists were there to stop him. I wouldn't want to see the movie about how Anton became Anton, then that takes away the mystique. It's like when zombie tried to give Michael Myers a backstory as a kid other than the simple backstory..the shyt didn't work. Sometimes I don't want to know why the boogey man is the boogey man.

Doom could work but you still need someone in the movie for him to bounce off of. Normally its good vs evil but if you're going with evil as the main protagonist, then your antagonist has to be worse than them

I'm shocked nobody mentioned Nemesis yet

I remember reading a few month's back that Mark Millar said the chances of a Nemesis movie being greenlit was based on Kingsman being financially successful and since that movie made over $100 million I guess we will be seeing a Nemesis flick within the next few years.
