I never thought I'd see the day when rap fans were so eager to be sheep. shyt went from counter to pop culture.

I got a major problem with Drake being positioned as the best of his gen, GOAT material, all this other shyt when it should be clear he's Milli Vanlli status. I feel he's the biggest fraud in rap since Vanilla Ice. He actually makes Vanilla Ice seem respectable.

Kanye can write but he prefers to write w/ writers....dude is perfectionist in every sense plus he produces so he doesn't quite have time to do both extensively. I'm an admitted Ye stan but dude likes to push the line whether folks write it off as trash or not. 808s got SO MUCH hate when it dropped but the same people look back on it and credit it as pushing hip hop in another direction.

I remember an interview Malik Yusef did (hes on of Ye's writers) and he said while they were making Yeezus he didnt like the direction the lyrics was taking and Kanye and him fought a lot because of it.
