This the "trap traphouse doing numbers" kid?
Yep. OVO made them take down their videos from YouTube , and then Drake promptly stole their lyrics, their dance, their lingo and bounced. This Mo-G kid got an education in copyrighting this year

While there's truth in this, I don't know your individual opinion on it but there's a sentiment here that the "streets" determine what's hot for the bubblegum/suburban/mainstream whatever rap fan to follow, I think there's varying degrees of truth in that depending on the artists. People also get accused of being social recluses or not from the hood if they don't hear people blasting Drake, so he is definitely an artist that covets that "street" appeal and gets it to an extent. Which is the bulk of his appeal and relevance...that tightrope walking.whats there to realize though...do you think the general public consisting of people that listen to drakes bubblegum rap care about the truth behind the music? Drake won and will continue to win. The meek mill shyt didnt touch him; its safe to say nothing will.

Culture less . One of the worst things to happen to genre was the Canadian invasion. It's when shyt gotCanadians really are the corniest nikkas on gods earth
I cant speak on the hood...but i agree about one being a social recluse. Mainstream people like drake...the type of people that swear iphones are really that much better than androids and shyt. Just like how iphone purists dont really care about the technicalities that prove iphones /ios are inferior to android devices like the nexus...Drake purists dont give a shyt about whats behind the music but the fact that the beat is hot or the hook is catchy. And I think you can agree with this. Even if street nikkas really do listen to drake, i doubt the average street nikka is a hip hop purist or is really passionate. They probably just want something with good bass in the whip, something thatll have bytches in the club turning up, or something they can relate to. The latter may not be what draws them to drake but the first two points could be.While there's truth in this, I don't know your individual opinion on it but there's a sentiment here that the "streets" determine what's hot for the bubblegum/suburban/mainstream whatever rap fan to follow, I think there's varying degrees of truth in that depending on the artists. It is possible for Drake to one day see ostracism from that street buzz and still have a Gold or even Platinum plaque despite having been deemed culturally irrelevant because his street buzz stopped.

Point blank all i'm saying is people that are passionate about rap and would care about ghost writing and all that shyt are not the majority. They're a very small subset of people like some of the coli's members and cant do a thing to knock Drake off his mantle. Meek seriously miscalculated. This ain't the 90s.
Man's tagged @Akademiks to share his story and plight, yet DjAkademiks has been quiet as a church mouse
Same when we exposed mo ghostwriters, same when we exposed the ovo tent thing
Kirby got these media nikkas walking on tight rope
Ya p*ssy's scared to PUSH THE BUTTON
how am i a nerd. it's just an analogy....i aint even with that android vs iphone shyt.Take opinions from nerds who compare rap to iPhones and other dumb shyt
nikka dat ain't nothing:This can't be true right?
Word ever since I peeped how Drake did the Migos and Future like that. I knew he was flaw dude, his whole gimmick is a act. Motherfukka hopped on their record, when they didnt even ask for it, then didnt give em clearance to sell the shyt. So they couldnt even make money off it. He only did that bullshyt to look "hot to the streets"
QC ....migos label details it in a article. Said the whole situation was a "Gift and a Curse"
"he talks about how good it feels to have proven wrong all the people who said "Versace" had only become a hit because Drake added a verse to a remix. It wasn't because of Drake, Pee says—in fact, he adds, he's not even sure the Drake thing ended up helping that much, especially since Drake's label never gave Quality Control the clearance to sell the song on iTunes. "It was a gift and a curse. Sometimes I really wish he had never jumped on it—it was gonna blow without him."

Ja had that mainstream appeal. Nelly had that mainstream appeal. Luda. 50. You didn't say anything wrong breh it's just that we've seen this movie and I don't believe anybody is immune to cultural irrelevance. People like Jay and Nas are exceptions and even as a Nas fan I could say his relevance is arguable because he doesn't have the youth on his side. Do you think he will be on that category of being on album 11 and still being a force?I cant speak on the hood...but i agree about one being a social recluse.
