It's too early for speculation by Carolina. Mikko didn't ask to be traded and has only played six games with them. Since he didn't specifically request Carolina, it would be insane to think he'd immediately sign a long-term extension there.
A lot of teams are gonna have cap space so the contract he wants is gonna be available in multiple places.
Steeves has been putting up big numbers in the AHL. It’s good to finally see get his first in the NHL.
