1000% but it isn't just the NHL, I find that soccer and the NFL are like this too with fukking 10-20 minutes highlights for a single game. Way too long needs to be 3 minutes tops with goals, outstanding defense plays and notable bloopers and that is about it.

Exactly. NBC used to have both options the 3-4 minute cuts and the extended 10-12 minute cuts for Premier League game highlights a few years back. Then they just stopped uploading the shorter highlight clips out of the blue.
