Y’all think we gonna have a 76ers type rebuild where we keep drafting in the lottery till we get the right guys, or a Warriors type rebuild where we develop players and they gradually become a good team?

20-21 is where the books open all the way up. Dennis will still be on the hook at 15.5 million but everyone else will be on their rookie deals. By all accounts, the high school kids should be able to declare in the 2020 draft class adding to what is already considered a good one to boot.

The future is bright but more than one misstep will hinder our process.

I'm so glad we are rebuilding. There is a 2-3 year window where there is no way to put a squad together capable of beating golden state. Spend that whole time getting young talent and assets then strike when the timing is right.

We talk about not wanting to be phx or Orlando where we are stuck tanking. But I think being Toronto, portland, or Washington is just as bad. 2 stars and stuck in cap hell.

In reality, it's might be more than a 2-3 year thing since a lot of picks are hit or miss. Look at Philly, year they got Embiid, Simmons, and Saric but they also wasted picks on Okafor and Noel.

I agree. I don’t buy the 5-7 year rebuild they have been saying on the radio. We had a lot of G Leaguers on the squad last year, but when everyone is healthy I still think we are a fringe playoff team
