So Jim is actually alive in another timeline and she can save him I'm assumingThe creatures are the OG people the Town that sacrificed the children with some entity to gain immortality, and were turned into aberrations, the souls of the children are probably cursed and can't find peace.
Even if one creature dies, they will be reborn, by impregnating a woman in town.
There is more than one entity on the town.
Reincarnations from OG townspeople are brought in to try to reverse the curse.
Jim died because he gave the clue that lead to the discovery of the song, and more than once he did things that angered the man in yellow.
The man in Yellow is the voice on the radio, and probably the voice on the phone.
Julie found a way to travel through time and from the looks of it. She was able to physically interact in it. If Jim would actually listen to a woman for once. He be alive, but he rather die being stubborn. Most man thing ever
I think time travel is going to be Back to Future rules. One Prime timeline. Change outcome. Alter Prime Timeline. Not multiverse
This could be a good show with a cohesive writing room and if they trimmed some of the excessive fat. Hopefully they will do that next season cause I am at least intrigued again after the season finale.

This show is literally what it is. It's consistently above average entertainment. I been around since season 1 and it hasn't improved.

The last 30 minutes makes me think the writers actually do have a plan (a thought i abandoned halfway through this season) but are just so obsessed with stretching shyt out to however many seasons that it requires dumbing down the characters to irritable levels in order to slow down the plot.
I could the next season having a similar formula. A strong opening ep or two... then a bunch of excessive fat overindulging ish that we don't care about, and then ep 10 will get lit again.

This is basically the Lost (and later TWD) formula. I don't think today's tv viewers have the patience for that shyt.
These writers better step it up. I'm contemplating only watching next season once the entire season is out so I can binge it. I can't deal with this weekly tease fest.

With the reincarnation stuff ,maybe Boyd's wife wasnt crazy when she said she was killing ppl to wake them up. BiW pushed tabby out the window/killed her to get her to go to the real world
