These spoilers are so bad I was hoping it was fake until I saw the pictures. Will either jump the shark or they will land it a LOT better than how that was written out.
Yeah I have to see it play out. Because reading it feels like the writer was rushing to get to the twist at the end. Leaving out some details maybe (or they didn’t completely understand what was happening), but this show never answers much (only adds on more questions) so how they wrote it (badly) is likely how it’s going to translate to the episodes. Some people might be happy with the finale, but I think most people will think it’s not enough. And like you said I think some people will say they’re jumping the shark.

The pacing of the show continues to baffle me. This ep was solid and felt like something that could have been episode 2-3 of a season where previously discovered things are being investigated - what are these numbers in the bottle tree, lets go back to the caves again, lets go get more food from the lake, etc. The type of shyt that would presumably be getting some noteworthy reveals by episode 6 of a TV show. Instead....

The two stories that really seem like they dragged everything down are Tabitha and Fatima. Tabitha escapes the town, runs across Victor's dad, is about to discover something and then bam...back to town. I don't even blame her for not finding answers btw. Meanwhile there's Fatima and her baby being slow walked all season. Which wouldn't be an issue if other stories were getting resolved or at least investigated decently.

There's food and shelter outside town and nobody has decided to look into it, or the possibility that there may be other people somewhere? Victor's dad never gets questioned on the tree or any information he might have? Multiple eps of barely anyone doing anything, little acknowledgement of how the seasonal change is impacting things, no followup on the animals, etc?

I haven't checked the spoilers but doesn't surprise in the least that they seem disappointing, beyond obvious that they've probably left themselves with too much to do considering everything that's happened so far.

I'll finish this season but if they drop the ball yet again then I'll throw the show in the bushes, better stuff out there to occupy my time with

You probably started season three already. But I would say you should watch season two episodes 6, 9, and 10 (some of episode 7 might be a little interesting to, maybe skim through that one). Episode 6 is a must watch once it gets nighttime. And don’t skip the “previously on From” to kind of get the jist of the lead up to what’s going on. If there’s something interesting looking in the “previously on From”. You could probably youtube the scene if your search is descriptive enough.
I'm on season 2. I was asking what if I just skipped to season 2 finale

I keep waiting for this dude who keeps thinking people aren't actually dead to get bodied. Now all of a sudden what you dream can harm you? :pachaha:About to be episode 9 and I feel I haven't learned a damn thing from episode 1 aside from worms possibly being lethal to monsters. No word on how to get more worms though :gucci:These writers definitely just freestyling:dead:I almost want this show to catch the chopping block treatment

That season 2 had some confusing dumb shyt added that hasn’t been explained for shyt and hasn’t really even been discussed or happened again. Like the cicadas

The Truth
Yea they haven’t mentioned it or even know wtf it is. It’s nvr happened again after season 2 that one time
Randall still gets attacked by them, but like all the seasons, they never explained why.

Just like with Lost. Lost was ok, but instead of changing the negatives with Lost (seasons are long af. And like Lost, they go years introducing new shyt, but never explaining old shyt) they basically just slapped a new coat of paint over their old show.

It’s almost like they have only one overarching plot point, and just fill everything else with random side quests that probably means nothing, just to get to that one plot point decades later.

Basically, this is Lost with monsters you might see every once in awhile

U know what ur right I remember Randall getting attacked by those cicadas once in this season. it happened during that incident at night where the ambulance came in to town and …… was tortured and he was left for dead by…..

Hopefully we get some damn answers by the end of this season if not that’s going to be wack
