Because it's wrestling man, it IS not that serious. Also Kross always sucked IMO he almost made me stop watching NXT when he was champion, it was that bad.Idk how you can just sit there and be cool watching somebody you invested in for years. Build him up to be one of the top stars of that brand. Become the main CHAMPION. Just to watch him lose cleanly in his DEBUT match…
You keep saying it’s “not that serious.” But that’s the same shyt nikkas were saying about Kross when he was the champion.
It makes the brand look weak. And even as a casual viewer. Why should I even invest in him if he goes on the main show just to lose?

This is exactly what my point was. He got shine, that's all you need. He got more reaction from the crowd than the people HHH brought back. Wins and losses mean very little in the overall picture. Some people get hung up on that like this is a real sport.

Melo has the look, persona, mic skills, ringwork, and company support for this to not hurt him.
