I don't know how to feel about this series.

As a show it's great, well acted and all that other good shyt.

But the series left me feeling like he could've been saved. Like he's not the monster that Gacy or Bundy were when you could say he was doing way more deranged shyt.

I get they were trying to tell his true story but it also kinda leads into feeling sympathetic towards him.

Fukk all that shyt

Nah dude was just as evil as them other killers. The series watered him down to make him empathetic to viewers and also not to offend his victims families. Also the series is not true accurate depiction of Dahmer. It’s more of an American horror story series. It mixed fact with fiction.

this was a hard watch... it must of been impossible to watch for the families of the victims.
they should have let this shyt die.
This guy was a dumbass, the cops have at least 50% of the blame for not catching him... they had loads of chances.

Yeah that's kinda what bothers me. To try to reenact his private interactions and convos with his victims when all you have is Dahmer's side of the story is crazy to me.

And his interactions with his dad made him more sympathetic

That dude use to carry a head with him to work at the candy factory. They def did not show that in this series.

fukkouttahere.... Neicy could get all this dikk with her sexy ass... Wish I was her neighbor in this flick... Last thing she would be focused on is some serial killer.... :wow:

I kept trying to be somber and serious but her titties and fat lips were distracting the fukk outta me lol

I wonder what happened to the cops that returned the kid to his murderer. I can only hope they're not still working in law enforcement.

I'm watching the actual doc on him now..

Bruh you not lying.. They held back a lot of shyt..

He was taking showers with the bodies in the tub with him because he ran out of room to dispose of them.. Yeah the show is fukked up in their portrayal of him

They were initially fired and then rehired. They both retired comfortably I think somewhat recently.

I watched 2 and a half episodes and then had to just skip to him being in jail and killed. Not too much bothers me but I just couldn't get through this. It was disgusting and disturbing every time they mentioned the smell in the apartment I felt like I could smell it too

Said I wasn’t going to watch this but it got the best of me. I don’t remember this story as a kid, was way too young, and never really had an interest in serial killers/true crime so I didn’t know the depths of this dudes crimes aside from being named a cannibal. Evans did a great job, but Netflix lowkey stays exposing white privilege in their miniseries. Like how this dude didn’t get arrested on multiple occasions, cops called on him for drugging people in the bathhouse, and got a whole 14 yr old returned to him is :mindblown:

shyts crazy what kids from like 72-97 navigated - serial killers, kidnappers, heroin and crack epidemics, gang wars, traumatized by watching the aids crisis unfurl, kidnappers, LSD and razor laced candy and dope dealing ice cream trucks, drive bys, sexual abuse that no one talked about or intervened, this was pre understanding of ADD, Austism/the spectrum. Just wow
