From Pac and Big promos to Empire promos: WWE headed to Fox in 2019?

this might be the nail in the coffin for WWE. Atleast for the long-time fans.

Going to Fox, it'll be so watered down that it gets completely unbearable.

Ppl will stop watching, ratings will plummet..... but the TV deals/ads will keep them making "record profits". But hey, they're on record saying ratings don't really matter anymore so...

RAW going back to 2 hours is a nice victory, but Smackdown staying on Tuesdays is still a chore to get up for with such a quick turnaround. FOX won't do it but Smackdown needs to be on Thursdays. I'd even prefer Fridays to Tuesdays.

Maybe they just want to do what Spike did and use WWE as a lead-in to the UFC? The last few UFC cards have been lacking in star power and ratings, and they need all the help they can get.

that lead in actually worked, I usually paid little to no attention to shows before or after wrestling but those old UFC Hype shows would have me ready to watch a fight between two random guys because of the similarities between MMA and Wrestling storytelling.

the thing is this time they will be on Fox Network which has local news at 10 across the country which means there probably won't be able to capitalize off of the raw audience unless they have a overrun on FS1/FS2.

Yeah and keep in mind Cowherd has shytted on Pro Wrestling for years so clearly the higher ups at Fox Sports told Cowherd to get out of his feelings and go to SmackDown.

In his own words he said it's the fans and not the wrestlers he hates, but it's still that piece of shyt.

How many times has their death been predicted? If anything this move helps because it gets rid of the ridiculous third hour when people check out. It's already so watered down on the USA network they wouldn't have to change anything they're doing now.
