Never predicted they’d lose against the warriors or grizzlies. I literally said they’d beat them cause of size and lack of scoring bigs on both teams. It’s exactly why I said that run was fraudulent because it hid their deficiencies. Me and @GreatestLaker were the ones constantly saying that they hit the lottery by drawing those 2 teams.

The thing is that if you have followed basketball for a long time, and don't fall victim to hype you understood that LA's defensive run was fool's gold, and that when teams were able to prepare for the gimmick, they would revert to the mean. This will be especially true in the playoffs.

It's pretty simple, no team with your 3 key players being as poor on defense as the Lakers is going to win a championship. No xs and os required. I'll be back to up this after their inevitable flameout.

Yep it was a bit of smoke and mirrors. Teams were trying to play thru the middle to take advantage of their size but that actually was hurting them. Keep moving the ball and that shyt collapses like a house of cards
