We werent winning a title regardless this season.

Yes, in the immediate short term future, as in the rest of this season, we got worse

But we've just pulled off one of the biggest trades ever, and once again got a generational talent onto our team entering his prime. This was a move for the future and thats all that needs to be considered.

This season was a wash regardless. Now we have real, geniune hope.

Also, this shows the front office is finally serious. This is the FIRST time Jeanie has shown she's willing to be progressive like her father. We made this trade from up under both Bron and AD's nose. No dikkriding stars, no hollywood considerations, no worrying about how Bron will feel. Nah, finally grabbing her nuts and pulling the trigger and what's best for the teams future. This also fully empowers Rob for the long term future. Jeanie already showed confidence in him by making him both President and GM, but also was catering to Bron, basically playing both sides.

This move means Rob got complete control now. Every move he makes from now on is about what's best to build around Luka. Not whatever works for the next chapter of Bron's saga.

We're finally here LWO brehs. Let's be honest, the Buss family is never gonna sell the team, at least as long as Jeanie is alive. So her finally coming around and signing off on this is a great development. Imagine if we found out she rejected this offer because of some Klutch shyt. It'd be over.
