Vogel couldn’t get Russ to buy in, and the FO chose him over Vogel. They also chose Ham as the coach cause he had a plan in place for Russ (so they say)

Terrible choice all around with the Westbrook choice, but Vogel had his issues as well offensively

Vogel shouldn't have even been the coach. Should have been Ty Lue.

Offense was fine in 2020. They had issues after that due to injuries and the fact that the front offense gave up shooting and never replaced it.

Vogel isn't a great offensive coach but he doesn't sabotage the team there either.

Vogel won a title for them in 2020. Lue's most recent experience at that point was getting fired by the Cavs. "Maybe" they win a title anyway with Ty Lue, but I think most Laker fans take the title they did win over a "maybe" title.

remember that article about Bron and AD bragging about how they orchestrated the Russ trade and how genius they are

a few months later they conveniently had amnesia and acted like they had nothing to do with it :dead:

at least AD can actually claim ignorance to this hiring.
