Suge we can see his motives..he's a businessman and saw the financial gains in taking out Bad Boy the new comer and main competitor for Black hearts and minds.

Pac's an artist, he was not moved by money but fame for himself and DR and probably taking harder drugs than weed that fueled his rage and pep talks from Suge.

If you're old enough now, Pac's suicide mission back then was shocking and bound to end very badly. Insulting numerous people in public who weren't exactly angels and survived off of hip hop...
Pac WAS moved by money...the only time him and Suge had riffs was money issues. Pac was a weed head, he was never known to do anything past that....I always heard no drugs were found in his system when they did his autopsy

Most people would choose Doggystyle alone over all of Badboys catalogue combined, good for you for thinking outside the box I guess:sas1:

People where? On what planet? Is this one of those opinions that exists only on the Internet? Obviously you're from Cali but let's not be delusional.

Is that why there's gonna be a huge bad boy concert packed with their roster over the years? Where's Death Row's?

It's like we forget who dropped on that label:

Lox
Mase
Faith
Junior Mafia
Mary J
112
Carl Thomas
G Dep
Black Rob
BIG

Oh okay, as you were though.

He wasn't about money, but when Suge is paying you a few grand after you've sold a million that will make any man demand his money..

Yes he was a weed head, rumored to have blown $250,000 per annun on it. So he had to have been on some serious high grade to be that paranoid of brehs living half way across the world on the other end of the continental US.

henchmen had goons because he threw money around, suge had goons cuz of loyalty. Henchmen aint so tough without the dough.

Cmon now..

So far from reality. Nobody is as tough as when you have money to spend on a crew of course, but you're delusional
if you believe Jimmy wasnt so tough prior to moving up in the biz. His history as a criminal seem very legit. That's partly why 2pac was
hangin with them. Most of his money was going to lawyers & he needed money. Them nikkas had money they could
offer him even tho 2pac knew it wasnt "legal money". It was street money.

Thats also what got him robbed in the end tho.

And im not picking sides between Biggie & 2pac, idiots do goofy shyt like that. I respect them both cuz of their talents. Not all the added extra stuff tho.

But, think of yourself in that position. We talking serious street dudes. Even IF Biggie (& possibly even Puff) knew, he (or they) obviously would be too afraid to tell IN FULL DETAIL what was gonna go down, in fear of it getting back to the street dudes. Cats act all brave online but we all know the reality. People are afraid of telling the real at work/jobs, but now everybody acting super brave like they wouldnt be afraid if they thought something COULD harm their life/safety, even if by NON serious street dudes.

Im pretty sure thats what 2pac meant by sayin that Biggie wouldnt tell him the full scoop about who or what they were gonna do when he said to not hang with them. People forget that Biggie DID warn him, but probably on the low.

And according to Little Shawn Biggie ended up getting robbed just for that. Of course none of us know if it really happened or not, but seems plausible. 2pac felt he was owed more being that he helped put them on. But when you add fear & legit street dudes? Its different.

I think that was what 2pac was sayin by "Fear is stronger than love. All the love i gave meant nothing when it came to fear". Ironic, but profound. Both he & we are afraid of alot of shyt in life.

:what: Do you actually KNOW what albums I'm talking about?
No amount of typing it will ever make your statement true. :mindblown:

Not to mention those albums you listed sound dated as hell, I NEVER hear them- clubs, hell barely even the radio. It's one thing to ride for your coast but that's truly a shenanigan-level statement.

edit: Thanks @Roovers410 - oh, and once in a while the DJ will play an oldies West Coast segment

Puffy in his own way was just as grimy as Suge ............... but he is waaaaayyyyyy smarter

Puffy scammed his artists just as badly as Suge but those dudes jumping at the chance to do a reunion tour, while Snoop and Dre wouldnt spit on Suge if he were on fire.....

Anyone who tells you its better to be feared than loved when it comes to business doesnt know what they are talking about....

There was L's taken on both sides clearly....but the fact that Suge is in jail facing attempted murder charges and DR hasn't been relevant in damn near 20 years shows that Bad Boy won the war...Puff is out here eating and he even lives in LA and can walk around with zero fear of getting touched...I would have to assume him and Suge have crossed paths since then also

Like i said before deathrow in 95/96 was heading for a crash pac got it in his head with suge n mob backing him he ws untouchable nikkas dont give a fukk ... Orlando anderson showed pac n suge how a real g moves wen beatup and humilated in a casino lobby ...its sad pac was so hellbent on wantin to prove to suge n the pirus that he was blackhearted n could move the way they moved :dame: it just ended up him in a premature grave ....:snoop: Pac and suge should have left the street shyt to the nikkas around them they were celebrities with too much to lose n look what happens wen you try to mix the streets with music ....:deadmanny:

Doggystyle,Chronic,AEOM,7dt sounds dated now?you never hear any of the songs on the radio:laff:? I hear em all the time so i have no idea what station you listening too:mjpls:...and thats bein in the midwest now i still hear it,so it aint a bias thing....maybe you should think about if you can say the same:sas1:

no. he was about his money even before DR records...people act like he was on Deathrow his whole career, when in fact, it was less than a year. Pac always was about his money -- he got shot in NYC the first time, going to get some money, even tho he had a bad vibe about it.

and GTFOH with that 250k a year BS:camby: That's like over a pound a week in weed...the FEDS or the state would have been jumped at the opprotunity to jam pac up if he was buying weed that heavy. IDC what they rap about or how many homies are in the inner circle -- Pac was NOT buying that much weed for a various number of reasons, a key being, he would not have been able to afford it :aicmon:
