Dude was living like a live action version of Bojack and seemed intent on crashing out. He had a big enough bag for numerous rehab stints and medical treatment but keep going back to the booze/drugs like a punt return with no defense in the way.
His handlers did a decent job keeping him around as long as they did — and it’s clear that whoever his publicist is had enough juice not have him looking like Aaron Carter in the press.

See i didnt watch the show or follow his life but its not reality when people say this was unexpected. He had surgeries from the damages of the drug use? Rehab every year? Why arent people shocked he was still alive? Fans got to learn how to seperate the human from the character.
