I thought Friends was good, and when there're repeats on and I'm not watching anything, I let it run in the background and still chuckle here n there.
For what it is/was, it was amongst the very best of its kind.

I know this is gonna get me some heat around these parts, but you cant even put martin and friends in the same league. Martin averaged like 6 million viewers, the lowest friends episode had like 15 million viewers. I think friends is highly overrated, and do Love martin, but come on breh...

Maybe not one of the funniest of all time, but it will go down in the pantheon of TV as one of the greatest.
For a certain demo, nothing encapsulated a time better than that show.
I can't remember who, but some network exec was on a podcast talking about how Friends is his 15 y/o daughter and her friends fav show to watch on Netflix.
He then did some digging and asking around, and found out Friends is one of Netflix's most popular shows, but a large portion of people who watch it from start to finish weren't even born when it started. They're all 18 and under.
