Them 6 and 7 figure Hollywood dudes is also lazy as fukk and want to make a quick buck with minimal risk. They feel new IPs don’t have the same draw as it did in the past & carry a risk.They want franchises or series with built in audiences already instead of doing the work to build a new one. Also With the lack of creativity and/or budgeting in marketing and the fact ppl love anything nostalgic is why it keeps happening.
