Who would of thunk it...that Fresh Prince of Bel Air would still be as popular 24 yrs later while Ferris Bueller tv show that came on after would be cancelled after a few months. Parker Lewis Can't Lose pretty much killed it besides the show being sh!t.

The 1st season will always be my favorite season of any sitcom.

I vividly remember the night this premiered. Got into a fist fight with my brother while waiting for the premier and ended up missing half of it.
I remember NBC showed the pilot in the summer along with the Ferris Bueller show. Man I couldn't wait for that premiere.

yeah. It may not be something you get see from looking on Wiki but for any younger people that are interested the Fresh Prince show as a pretty big deal at the time. It wasn't like just some show they threw on. And it wasn't just like a thing the rap crowd was looking forward to. They promoted the shyt out of it and made it a big deal. They wanted it to be a big show. It was one of the biggest premiers as far as the push they were giving it. And with so few channels back then stuff like that seemed huge.

Yeah Quincy obviously saw something in Will, because at that time I may been the only Fresh Prince stan left. By 90 niccas weren't funkin with Dj Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince any more. Even after the show got a second season I still wasn't sure if it would get syndication so I made sure I taped every episode. Monday was my favorite day of the week:blessed:

Yeah. Monday was pretty good. I remember when they had Blossom on after Fresh Prince they had them crossover and Will was on an ep where they stayed at the same hotel. And Hillary was in an ep where she met the brother. Yeah, I watched Blossom. :birdman::birdman::birdman::birdman:

Sunday on Fox was the goat though in 1990.

7:30 Parker Lewis Can't Lose
8:00 In Living Color
8:30 Get A Life
9:00 Married with Children
