Just watched. It’s great.
In a weird way it's perfect.
I expected Will to speak on the "beef."
I didn't expect it to feel so honest.
From the time everybody was quietly crying over James (especially Jeff
) to the end was 5/5.
They didn't lean too much into the "black excellence" angle because; of course, I loved how they handled black issues in the earlier seasons.
But, they did trivialize what hood really was and after Janet Hurbert left, the show became more about highjix and Will gettin' girls.
I still at the fact that Will character was basically homeless before the season finale with no real direction in his life.
Somebody has to explain to me why he didn't marry Lisa.
That would have been a good way to end the series. Yea, you can't go three more seasons with a married Will.
Their was the season finale of 5.
Season Six is far and away the worst season. Not bad. But, the weakest.
Look at it;

Just fukkery...I love the Mad Dog episode, but, why is Will still going on double dates with Carlton? That's something they should've done in high school.
Memorable shyt, but, nothing where you say "We can't have Will married so we can________"
I'm ranting but, that's the only downside of the entire run of the show.
