I don't think there's anything to discuss when it comes to who's worse, or really I should say, who WAS worse. Granted to be fair and play Devil's Advocate, nobody forced anyone to buy, sell, or do dope, and the circumstances that created the real Freeway Rick are far too complex to lay all the blame upon him. At the same time he bears a significant measure of responsibility for the ruination of countless lives. I love reading about gangbanging, hustling and criminal behavior, but at the end of the day these people wreak havoc on honest folks lives. The older I get the more I can understand why drug trafficing warrents the death penalty in other countries.
As far as the entertainer is concerned, everyone knows he's phony with the exception of himself. I get the feeling he's got a mental problem, a psychological defect causing him to lose sight of reality to the point he really believes what he's rapping about. The man is sick, he can't help himself. But I absolutely REFUSE to feel sorry for anyone influenced by a rap star. If you went out and did dirt because you did what an entertainer rapped or sung about, you warrent absolutely no sympathy.
