Kevin Broom in his article suggested drafting Hachimura at 9 and he knows Tommy Sheppard though he said he hasn't talked to him in awhile. Kind of spooky.

Admiral Schofield at #42 isn't a bad pick... screams like PJ Tucker though

I don't know what to think about Rui pick, I would say he is a high risk/high reward pick but outside the top 5 all the other picks are pretty much of similar stock....But he seems like he has the character, learning curve and work ethic to improve yearly plus he's marketable so that probably was one of the selling points to the team.....Sekou Doumbouya was at the top of my list, high upside the similar pedigree to a young Siakam but I heard his agent turned down private workout request..Schofield is a solid pick intriguing for his value ..Who knows lets hope they hit on one of these UDFA's, they need to go hard trying to get Robert Franks he has all the makings of the modern stretch 4........

Still embarrassing they couldn't establish who the GM is smh.......

At first I was Meh about it. I hate the kawhi comparisons but I can see offensively and the way he moves it reminds me of kawhi. How he generates his offense. Kawhi came in supposedly thought of as a of or tweener then developed a perimeter game and became a good small forward.

The fact the dude has improved by leaps and bounds every year.. It bodes well.

Secondly I can see what the team did with the picks plus addition of Jonathan simmons. I always loved Jonathan as a walk on on the Spurs and he played well next to Kawhi. So he'll do well next to rui. The profile of the players we got a hard workers who have improved a lot. They are really stand out physically strong so we won't be bullied around and we can rebound better. They have really good motors. They have high charector and work ethic. They can still space the floor.

Our issue has never been wall and Beal. We beat Toronto years ago and their improvement and the teams that jumped ahead of us was with their bigs and forwards. What's Wall and Beal supposed to do against Giannis, embiid, Ben simmons, kawhi, siakam?

We get tougher forwards and let wall recover. Gilbert arenas thinks wall will recover well because he hurt his left foot yet jumps off his right. So we'll be a dud this season but by next season we'll still have the option of two studs in their prime.. Or trade them. And tougher forwards.

Now im just worried about depth and who we are keeping who fits this profile. I wonder what's gonna happen to sato, Jeff Green, ariza, Portis and Jabari.

Both our picks were in this game. Focus is on Schofield though. He's a surprisingly good shooter for his physique. And he can actually score a lot but chooses not to. And he shot 41 percent from 3 and has done so consistently through the seasons.
