All four of your grandparents have to be from the same country in Africa (but not the same ethnic group). One per household. They only chose 12 countries. If you're from outside of these countries but have ancestry from a people that reside in one of the 12, lie, and change it when you get your results/account set up or clarify to matches when asked.
They're building a database to help African Americans (from the Americas) and Caribbean folks pin point our ancestry. You get all the same features and benefits as paying members of the site..health information, all of that. Please pass this information along.
