because the people who are on lean aren't on lean to get high, especially in Wayne's case. Wayne does lean because he can't deal with withdrawal symptoms. That's what happens with drugs like that.

Here's a quote from Layne Staley from Alice in Chains basically summing up why some people (including him) can't get off hard drugs
