Album is :ld: to me.

It's not as if any of the songs are wack per se. But the album is just kinda all over the place. I guess a more positive person would say it has something for everyone....but to me it sounds disjointed as hell.

One of the skits said the album took 3 years to make, and it shows. It sounds like he took a gang of songs from a bunch of random studio sessions and threw them together. Not saying he needs one producer à la Madlib or Alc, I been a fan since "STR8 KILLA". But there should be a cohesive direction.

My favorite song is "Dark Hearted". Pusha T had the best verse on the album though.

Fred.

I'm shocked at you Hex.

On top of the album being excellent to me, the soundscape of the album was very cohesive in my opinion.

Production is smooth and melodic throughout. Everything flowed together nicely. I'm only disappointed with a few of the features.

It is what it is breh.

I'm glad people like it. Gibbs is still my favorite new (within the last 10-15 years) rapper.

Didn't think I'd see the day when you'd have a less than favorable post for the Kane Train, lol. Now I just need to hear @TheDarceKnight thoughts :jbhmm:

I gave this a listen and as major label album I guess it delivered. I'm not really a fan of this style of production so this ain't for me. There's some songs I like but as a whole I can't get into it.

There's actually a few projects I'm :ld: on.

I usually end up defending him outside of the music because cats are hypocritical as fukk. People were saying they stopped listening to his music because Jim Jones (allegedly) got him jumped....as if we ain't seen Jones get beat up and chased on camera. :mjlol:

Just little shyt like that annoys me.

But do the people saying that listen to Jim Jones? Maybe they stopped listening to him when they realized he was a lame too?

The footage dropped back around 2005.:mjlol:

So nah, nobody cared or stopped listening to Jim Jones. He's been beaten up a few times since then too.

I wouldn't consider him a lame. These rappers aren't super heroes.

Regardless, this type of shyt only matters if people don't like the rappers anyway.

I never stopped listening to Jones or Gibbs. Or Griselda.
