For Me Gibbs sounds at home with the smoother sound (ala 50). Crazy the similarities between the two when it comes to that.

100% man.

It's like those type of beats really are melodic and crisp, but give them enough room to float on top of the sound. I remember when 50 dropped that Emotional joint...that was like the first Pete Rock joint that people had heard in years maybe? I always thought that 50 was really good at picking beats that complimented his style...especially on his mixtape work.
