Kinda forgot about this album, but came back to it as I noticed the videos they released for it. Went and copped on vinyl and gave it a listen front to back. Probably Top 5 album for me for 2019.

I'm not as enamoured with this as everyone else. The beats as usual are interesting from Madlib, but I'm just not feeling this on a song to song basis.

AOTY for me. Although I still feel like Piñata is better (probably my second favorite album of the decade and I’ve spent five years with it), this is a lot more fluid.

rap wise/overall performance, this is prolly him at his best. Whether you talkin lyrics, delievery, voice, etc.

I've put rap on the back burner period but been creepin back into it. First time I heard this album it felt mid to me by Gibbs standards. Months later listening and this might be better than Pinata......
