:laff:

LL being unscathed on wax is falsely televised :sas2:

Never said he was unscathed. I said he’d wipe the floor with GIBBS.

Gibbs is talented but there’s enough in his background that LL could utilize to make a hot diss track if he was really focused. If LL can destroy an MC of the talent caliber of Canibus with just ONE bar then Gibbs is easy food

Long as Gibbs career matches up to the folks like Jeezy and LL who he "roasting" then I don't see this as anything but motivation. Does Gibbs have 1 classic song everyone knows? "Thuggin?" What would be his hit? He been rapping and putting stuff out for over a decade? Honest question

Yeah, he's not that kind of artist. He's more or less underground. He is like one of the biggest underground acts but he has not reached mainstream levels like at all. LL on the other hand has never been underground, when he came out he did it big! And he did it big on his debut when Hip Hop itself was mostly still underground. His career is part of Hip Hop going mainstream.

LL did more than do it big. He was the first solo rapper to drop a full length album. He was the first solo rapper to go Plat. Got plaques and hits across decades. 35 years later we're still talking about him.

LL deserves that GOAT title.
